Moshe Cohen, Chairman of the Board - Tech-Career is happy to welcome Moshe as our new Chairman of the Board. He was born in 1954 and now serves as the owner of a leading business consulting firm, advising a wide range of organizations in business development, entrepreneurship and strategic planning. Moshe began his career at the IDF, and was ranked Colonel at the Israeli Air Forces. He was the founder of the first Apache Squadron of the IAF and a Cobra Squadron commander. Moshe has vast experience as CEO in several companies i.e. C-Valves, a technology incubator and a startup company. He also served as Business Development Director at RAFAEL and VP at Tadiran Spectralink.

Moshe hold an MA in Political Science from Haifa University and completed a Masters in Financial Management from Naval Post Graduate School at Monterey, California. He was a lecturer at the National Security College and completed a joint program of Organizational Consulting at the Hebrew University and NYU. Moshe received a merit award for his involvement in rescuing IDF forces in daylight from within the enemy lines.

 

Nir Gorni, Treasurer - Nir is an economist, business consultant and CFO, and owns Pareto Management and Consulting. The company serves dozens of businesses and organizations in a wide variety of fields. Nir was introduced to Tech-Career within the framework of his activities at Israel Venture Network. Nir accompanies Tech-Career's activity since 2008.

 

Hiwot Yimer, Board of Directors Member - is an Ethiopian Israeli started as a programmer at Amdocs in Israel. Hiwot graduated from Ma'ale Adumim Community College and received her diploma in 1999. Currently, she works at Teva pharmaceutical company as a Business Analyst in Global ERP HR projects, since 2010.

 

Leah Biteolin - immigrated from Ethiopia in 1984 during Operation Moses. She is an Attorney and currently works in an international real estate company. She was the manager of Partnership 2Gether 2000, with the collaboration of the Jewish Agency and worked with the Jewish community in Toronto and in Switzerland. She accompanied, monitored and developed educational and employment programs for Ethiopian Israelis. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and LL.B. She has vast experience in the third sector and was Board member and active member in several NGO's. Leah joined Tech-Career's Board of Directors in 2012.

 

Vlad Slutzkin, Board of Directors Member - immigrated to Israel from the former Soviet Union in 1990. He holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science. Vlad has worked in Israel's high tech industry for over 17 years. He is currently in charge of Global ERP Projects at Teva. Vlad joined Tech-Career's Board of Directors in the summer of 2008.

 

Einat Karniel, Board of Directors Member - Organizational consultant and workshop-guidance. Einat is specializing in Developing and Managing cross-organizational processes Leading EFQM excellence model (2012) projects. She has experience in inter-organizational consulting in high-tech companies including other NGO's and owns a private consulting firm. Einat was Management Member at the Israeli start-up company “Saifun” Semiconductors and worked at “Amdocs” , “Binat Communications” and the recruitment HR Company O.R.S. Einat holds a M.Sc. in Behavioral Science and Management from the Technion (Israel's leading Institute of Technology). Einat developed Tech-Career's soft skills and career management programs, including the mentor program and joined Tech-Career in 2012.

 

Andres Kukawka, Board of Directors Member - Andres has held senior management and consulting positions throughout his long career within the Information Technology industry. In addition to his leadership, Andres brings a rich experience in project and technology management – where he has applied his trade throughout the US, Israel, and Europe. Andres’ Project Management experience categorizes his task management style and approach in addressing challenges. Andres brings varied start-up experience in areas of SW Product Development, IT Services, and Wireless Internet access. He has a rich Executive and “C” level experience and has consulted for a series of C-level executives across multiple industries. He has IT Sales experience with SW and Services offerings. Today, Andres is the CEO of a Global Technology Services company with offices in Israel, Ramallah, Paris, and London. Andres holds an MS in Information Systems and Management and was an honorarium Information Technology Instructor at the University of Colorado at Denver. He enjoys the outdoors, bicycling, hiking, and spending time with his family.

 

Shmuel Quittner, Board of Directors Member and Mentor - Shmuel has over 40 years of experience in high-tech organizations and companies in a vast variety of roles starting in programming, system analysis and software development management in Israel's Prime Minister Office, throughout sales management for CDC – Control Data Corp., and DEC – Digital Equipment Corp. Further to General Management of Orbot Pacific (a Subsidiary of Orbot Systems, The world leader of AOI systems for the PCB industry). Later, as the Israeli liaison of the Japanese chip tester's manufacturer Advantest. Shmuel is a Project Manager Professional certified by the American PMI (Project Management Institute). He joined Tech-Career's Board of Directors in 2012.

 

Shay Mor-Rashti, Advisory Board Member and Mentor - has over 20 years of experience in high-tech companies. He holds an MBA from the University of Derby UK and a B.Sc. from the University of State of New-York. He is a Regional Sales Director at AudioCodes and responsible on an annual budget of over $10M. He brings a lot of experience in the local and global high-tech market and has a lot of connections at the local Israeli market. Shay joined our Board of Director in 2012.
