MAKING A DIFFERENCE

 

Tech-Career offers Ethiopian Israeli young adults an innovative program that includes professional technological training, personal development workshops and job placement services in the high tech industry.

 

When Tech-Career opened its doors in 2004, there were just 4 Ethiopian Israelis working professionally in the lucrative high tech industry. Today, approximately 150 Ethiopian Israelis work in the industry; most are graduates of Tech-Career.

 

Tech-Career provides a unique opportunity for Ethiopian Israelis, who for over 25 years, have been attempting to break out of the harsh socio-economic reality in which they live and integrate into Israeli society. Before coming to Tech-Career, students work at odd jobs earning minimum wage.

 

Our programs make a difference: Tech-Career graduates begin their careers and earn above average salaries.

They integrate into the high tech industry and independently transform their socio-economic status.
