Background

 

Tech-Career was founded by Glenn Stein and Asher Elias, a member of the Ethiopian Israeli community, with the understanding that the most critical issue for the community's integration into the Israeli mainstream is employment.

Tech-Career opened its doors in 2004 with 9 students. Since its establishment, Tech-Career has trained over 200 young adults in software development, quality assurance and networking. Over 70% of graduates are employed in their field of training. In 2011 Tech-Career has three computer labs and has trained 100 students.
