Study
The residential study program teaches computer programming to Ethiopian Israeli young adults over the course of 14 month. The program curriculum is designed to train participants as database/web developers. The major focus of the curriculum is training in SQL Server, Visual Basic.Net, Active Server Pages (ASP.NET), JavaScript and HTML. Participants attend six hours of computer classes per day, five days per week and have access to the computer lab twenty-four hours a day. Exams are administered approximately once a week and students are expected to pass with scores of at least 80% or take a second exam. Students who cannot meet course requirements are asked to leave the program. All students have residential status in order to grant them ideal learning conditions without the distractions of family, friends, or financial obligations.
